McGonagall Online

Dedicated to William McGonagall, the nineteenth century Scottish poet, and writer of the worst poetry in the english language. His most famous work is probably The Tay Bridge Disaster, but he wrote over two hundred more on a variety of subjects.

Styled to have a distinctively Victorian look, the site includes a searchable archive of all William’s works, articles about him/them, and links to related web sites. A popular feature allows visitors to sign up to have a McGonagall poem regularly emailed to them. Hundreds of “Poetic Gems” are sent out every day to fans worldwide!

The site was a Yahoo Pick of the Day in September 2003.
